Micah, a London-based artist, is on a journey to carve out her place in the soft rock music scene after releasing her alternative pop debut single, “Mirror,” in 2024. Eager to redefine what soft rock means to her and today’s music landscape, drawing inspiration from artists like Willow Smith, Fousheé, and Billie Eilish. With “smooth like honey” vocals, Micah blends live rock and acoustic elements to create a sound that’s both intimate and powerful. She has recently been featured on the BBC TV hit series, “Boarders” in 2025. Moving across countries, Micah has performed live in both South Africa and England, in popular London venues like the Finsbury.

'Glimmer', a pop-rock song, represents a micro-moment of joy—the subtle, yet powerful experiences that bring comfort, safety, and a renewed sense of hope. It serves as the lead single for the upcoming 3-track EP 'Psyche', which explores the mind, body, and soul. BACKGROUND

Growing up in South Africa, I was surrounded by a local and global diverse range of music, from different genres and instrumental textures to lyrics in multiple languages, thanks to my parents. This created a rich musical environment that allowed me to explore what sounds truly resonated with me as an artist, without limitations. My music journey officially began in late 2022, long after moving to London, where I experimented within the alternative genre space but my love for live instrumentation and guitar riffs naturally shaped my current progressive sound. Rooted in soft rock, my style blends smooth, mellow vocals with dynamic, powerful instrumentation to create a sound that feels both comforting and confrontational. Through storytelling, my lyrics and melodies lie at the heart of my artistry, and through them, I strive to foster vulnerability by exploring themes like mental health, trauma, healing, authenticity and personal growth.
